An Extraordinary Smart Gallery at Daewang Elementary School
A Safe Smart Gallery With No Risk of Breakage
As soon as you enter the school’s main gate, you’ll see the first Smart Gallery to your left. Measuring 1,000 mm wide and 700 mm high, it’s designed to showcase the energetic daily life of Daewang Elementary students.
These Smart Galleries consist of a screen-paint-framed display and a projector. Unlike LCD TVs or monitors, which generate heat and risk breakage, these custom-projected surfaces are safer for energetic children running around. Plus, since they’re made with screen paint, the ratio, size, and shape of each display can be freely customized.
A Smart Gallery Unrestricted by Space
On the opposite wall, you’ll find a uniquely proportioned Smart Gallery measuring 770 mm by 880 mm. Because the display is projection-based, these unusual dimensions are easily achievable. Hidden behind this custom screen is an electrical panel. With a gentle push, the screen opens, making it convenient for staff to access and manage the panel without compromising the display’s aesthetic or functionality.
A Smart Gallery Without Size Limits
A massive Smart Gallery awaits on the stairway to the second floor. Measuring 2,130 mm wide and 1,230 mm high, this large-format screen board overcame installation challenges involving projector placement and wiring in the stairwell. Placed prominently in a busy corridor area, it doubles as a gallery and a digital bulletin board for the school.
Not only can this large display showcase grand imagery, but it will also serve as a platform for students to share and celebrate their AI-generated artwork in the future.
A Smart Gallery That Resembles a Window
The final Smart Gallery is found along the left corridor on the second floor. Measuring 1,160 mm wide by 740 mm high, this window-like display will eventually become an interactive “digital window,” responding to the positions of viewers.
Even now, it showcases window-themed content, offering a surprisingly lifelike viewing experience that the students are sure to love.
Windows-Based PCs for Easy Content Management
All four Smart Galleries at Buyeo Daewang Elementary School run on Windows-based PCs, making it as simple as playing images or videos on a standard computer. Teachers can easily adapt and expand the galleries’ functions, turning them into more than just static displays. They can become platforms for interactive lessons, showcases for student creativity, and evolving hubs of educational engagement.
