Five Events, One Guestbook: 355 Signatures at the Seongnam Citizen Health Fair

In late 2025 we put the MP-C transparent guestbook on tour. Five different events, five different audiences, the same hardware. Public health fair. Corporate event. Cultural festival. School ceremony. Public ceremony.

The goal was simple: see how the same panel behaves when the room changes around it.

What we built

A single MP-C transparent guestbook canvas, configured per event with appropriate background scenes, transported between five sites over a two-month window. Setup time at each event held steady at under an hour. Teardown the same.

The largest single-day pull, by signature count, was the Seongnam Citizen Health Fair. 355 signatures in one day of an open public event.

Why a tour, not five separate installs

Installing five different guestbooks in five different rooms would have produced five different stories. We wanted one story across five contexts, to see what changes and what holds.

What held: the welcome moment, the lobby flow, the time-to-first-signature. Visitors at all five events figured out the panel within seconds.

What changed: the writing. Public health fair attendees wrote short well-wishes. Corporate event attendees wrote names and titles. Festival attendees drew sketches more than they wrote words. Ceremonies fell between the two.

What the numbers showed

The Seongnam Citizen Health Fair's 355 signatures in a day translates to roughly one signature every ninety seconds during peak hours. At that rate the panel becomes a live participation meter for the event itself. Organizers can read attendance off it in real time.

Other events in the tour averaged 80 to 200 signatures per day, with the variation tracking event format more than audience size.

Who this is for

Event series, regional roadshows, civic touring programs, and any organization running similar-format events across different sites. A single MP-C unit can tour for weeks at a time. The scene configuration is the variable; the hardware is the constant.

If you are doing five of the same kind of event this year, one panel can travel with all five.
