How Danyang Middle School Built a 7-Meter Interactive Flower Path for Graduation

A middle school in Danyang, South Korea, wanted to give its graduating class a moment they would remember. Not a banner. Not a photo wall. A walkway.

They asked us to make the floor of the gym do something it had never done before.

What we built

Two MP-F mobile floor projectors, lined up end to end, projected a single 7-meter path of falling petals down the center aisle. As students walked toward the stage, the petals scattered around each footstep and gathered again behind them. Live. No staff at a laptop.

The setup ran on the school's existing power. We rolled the units in the morning of the ceremony, calibrated the floor in about thirty minutes, and packed everything out the same afternoon.

Why two units, not one

A single MP-F covers roughly 3.5 meters of floor at install height. For graduation, the school wanted the path to start at the gym entrance and end at the stage steps. Two units gave them the full length without losing the resolution.

Both projectors run the same scene from the same controller. The handoff between them is seamless. From a student's point of view, it is one continuous river of flowers.

What students walked through

The scene we ran is called Floor Flower Road. Petals drift down from above. Where a foot lands, the petals push outward in a ripple. Where a foot lifts, the petals settle back. The motion is calm but responsive.

For the graduates, it turned a thirty-second walk into something cinematic. For the parents in the audience, it gave every student their own moment to be photographed.

Who this is for

Schools, ceremony venues, and event teams who want a floor that reacts without bringing in a permanent install. The MP-F is portable. The content runs offline from a USB. The whole system fits in a sedan.

If you have a graduation, an opening, or a moment that deserves a walkway, the same setup can travel.
