Creating Unique Coffee Cup-Shaped Digital Screens with Screen Paint
Exploring Various Screen Designs with Screen Paint and Projectors
Initially, Paintpam targeted the instant signage market using storefront glass. This led to the frequent use of rear-projection screens. Since most commercial signage and storefront windows are rectangular, we initially adhered to that standard. However, expanding the use of projection-based window advertising proved challenging due to unclear and inconsistent outdoor advertising regulations.
To overcome these challenges, we focused on two key strategies:
Moving screen installations from exterior glass windows to interior spaces.
Differentiating from traditional signage by introducing unique screen designs.
Expanding Performance with Wall-Mounted Screen Paint
Rear-projection paint required a projector to illuminate the screen from behind, limiting its use to designated screen areas. However, with the launch of wall-mounted screen paint, projection-based visuals could extend beyond the screen itself, creating more immersive digital experiences.
Screen paint is often compared to kiosks and LED displays. While LED screens deliver bright visuals regardless of location, they may struggle to capture attention if the content lacks impact. In contrast, screen paint allows for eye-catching, custom installations but requires thoughtful planning and design.
If you're looking to create a truly unique visual experience, consider leveraging screen paint to craft immersive, unconventional digital displays.
